Help Center/On call and schedules
The calendar
The calendar shows every shift for a schedule, so you can check when you are on call and who covers the rest of the month. Everyone in your company can open it. It is read-only.
Pick what you see
Choose a team first. Then choose Month or Timeline at the top right. The previous and next buttons move a month in Month and a week in Timeline. Press Today to jump back to the current date.
Month
Month shows one schedule: pick it next to the team. Weeks start on Monday. Each shift is one coloured bar with the person’s name and, on the day it starts, “from 09:00” (the start time in the schedule’s timezone). A bar with a square end carries on from the week before or into the next week. Overrides have an amber outline and the word Override. A small + on a bar marks a day with more than one handoff: open Timeline to see them all. Under the month, a key lists the people on these shifts.
Timeline
Timeline shows every schedule of the team, one row each, across two weeks. Each block starts and ends at the real handoff time, and a red Now line marks the current moment. Use it to see shifts shorter than a day.
On call now
In Month, when the month you’re looking at includes today, On call now above the calendar says who holds the pager and until when.
Incidents on the calendar
In Month, the Incidents switch adds up to three severity dots on each day that had incidents, worst first. Click the dots to see that day’s incidents and who was on call when each one opened. Turn the switch off to see only the shifts.
See a shift
Click a bar or a block to see the shift: who it is, when it starts and ends, and how many shifts they have in view.
Changing shifts
You cannot change anything on the calendar itself. Managers and admins make changes in Settings → Schedules: press Edit rotation in the schedule’s row. If you need a different order or handoff time, ask one of them, or read Edit a rotation.
Coming soon: creating overrides from the calendar.
