Page-only people and sign-in
For managers and admins
Not everyone who gets paged needs to sign in to Oncall. This article explains the difference between page-only people and people who can sign in.
Page-only
A page-only person gets paged and appears on schedules, but has no login. Their row in People shows Page-only.
Can sign in
A row that shows Can sign in means the person has a password. They can open Oncall, see incidents and acknowledge them.
Give someone a login
Admins can turn a page-only person into someone who can sign in. Open the menu on their row and choose Invite to sign in. Oncall makes a link that you send to them. See Invites for the details.
Passwords
A page-only person has no password, so they cannot reset one. If someone in this state needs to sign in, they need an invite.
